The corrosiveness of sulphide produced in lubricating oil during use is an excellent antioxidant. It is used as bearing preservative, antiwear agent and metal deactivator in antiwear hydraulic oil, cryogenic hydraulic oil, steam turbine oil and gasoline engine oil.

It is used as extreme pressure agent, bacteria and oxidation inhibitor in emulsifier, and as antioxidant in internal combustion engine oil. It is characterized by low dosage and high performance. It is used in oil products to form a protective film by interacting with non-ferrous metal surface. It can effectively prevent the corrosion of metal caused by active sulfur and acidic substances produced by oxidation in additives. At the same time, it also inhibits the catalytic oxidation of metals and metal ions on oil products and makes them lose active particles.
